Joe Uddo started his career on Capitol Hill working for Congressman Steve Scalise, a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee and a member of House Leadership. There he served as a Legislative Aide with an array of policy issues in his portfolio. Joe then accepted a job working with Team Boehner, the political arm of House Speaker John Boehner, NRCC, and the New York State Republican Party. He then went on to serve on campaigns across the country consummating with his being named Deputy State Director in Pennsylvania for the Trump for President Campaign. Joe was sworn in as White House Liaison to the U.S. Department of Energy on January 20, 2017. In June of 2018, he accepted the challenge to create and manage a new office within the International Affairs Office of the Department of Energy. As Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy Innovation and Market Development, Joe is spearheading the Department of Energy’s efforts to expand U.S. energy exports around the globe in accordance with President’s Trump’s focus on increasing American trade partnerships in the energy sector.
